Wine of the Week – Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon 2010

Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 weathered a wet spring and unusually cold summer put full fruit maturity off into October. Two major rainfalls delayed the harvest. Despite these weather-related ups and downs, the wine prevailed, with high texture, balanced tannins, notes of chocolate and ripe fruit, and a deep rich color. The wine’s complex aroma and various scents combined with tannic structure, intense and lively fruit flavors and nuances of spice and smoke. Great balance and earthiness lead to a great and special, yet highly approachable wine. Go to http://www.caymus.com/#/our-wines_overview.a
