In Boston’s Fort Point Channel, Trillium Brewing reports the return of Fort Point Pale Ale after a hiatus created by a shortage of hops. The ale offers flavors of citrus zest and tropical fruit, along with aromas of the hops, says Jean-Claude Tetreault, the brewer. Slight bitterness (he calls it ‘restrained’) characterizes the dry finish. The retail shop on premise at 369 Congress St. offers growlers for sale. Trillium branded mini tulip sample glasses are now available for sampling the beers. Additionally, Trillium now offers event space for private functions including a tour of the brewhouse, a guided tasting and beers on draft. Go to http://www.info@trilliumbrewing.com.
