Wells Banana Bread Beer launched its British-made craft beer in new areas of the U.S. recently with The Breadettes Tour, a trio put together by the British Brewers of Banana Bread Beer featuring a sassy and “very British” tio of girls who sing, dance and pour pints of Wells Banana Bread Beer. made in Bedford, U.K. by Wells & Young’s.
The award-winning brew is available as a seasonal cask beer, at bars and in its bottle format in supermarkets in the U.K. and offers aromas of banana with a grassy lemon nose. It has a grassy, lemony nose and is fresh and hoppy with a long dry finish.
Ale in Britain was once known as “liquid bread” – hence the name. Fair Trade bananas give this brew its distinctive notes coupled with malt blends.
