Paul opens 2nd & 3rd units in Natick, MA

NATICK, MA – A major French bakery, Paul, is expanding in the Boston suburbs with a dine-in café and large kiosk in the Natick Mall west of the city.
The bakery, first opened in France in 1889, and still a family-owned operation, held a soft opening this week prior to a formal unveiling on December 22.
The main dine-in 2500 sq ft Bakery–Café is located at the Natick Mall Road Lower Level Mall entrance across from The MET Bar and Grill, and features a coffee bar, table seating for approximately 50 guests inside, and 12 guests outside along the mall walkway. Large glass windows give patrons a view into the kitchen as bakers bake fresh breads and pastries. The upscale casual interior is combines French Provincial and modern furnishings in tones of plum, cream, black and brown. A second Natick Mall location is the large PAUL kiosk, on the Lower Level outside of Macy’s, directly in front of the escalators, accommodating 25 dining guests.
Special desserts include centerpieces which allow diners to embrace the French “Art de Vivre” with celebrations or as gifts. A Pâtisserie selection of seasonal cakes includes the “Entremet Bougie” cake, shaped like a “candle” which pays homage to PAUL’s 125th anniversary. The cake is composed of smooth vanilla Bavarian crème with raspberry compote in a soft sponge cake, and covered with white chocolate. Also available is a traditional French “Bouche de Noel” Yule Log in choice of : Almond Apricot; Pear Chocolate; Raspberry Pistachio; and Coffee Nougatine.

The holidays at PAUL continue well into the New Year with “Galette de Rois” King’s Cake made of pure butter puff pastry and Frangipane almond filling. Whoever finds the ceramic token inside will be crowned King or Queen for the Day!
Catering (for breakfast, lunch, or office parties) is available for nearby offices and stores.
