VERTS opens first unit in New York

NEW YORK – VERTS, the Texas-based fast casual chain that now has 25 units and $35 million in funding opened its first Manhattan outlet this month at 24 East 23rd St. as part of their aggressive plan to open 200 stores by 2020. Millennial co-founders Michael Heyne and Dominik Stein introduced a new lunch and dinner option to New Yorkers consisting of fresh and customizable Mediterranean food – chef-inspired pitas, salads and bowls. Scratch-made sauces and signature toppings like pickled jalapenos and marinated olives add an extra boost of flavor to any option.
