Holiday season is the time for pies

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA – The holiday season is upon us and there’s no better way to celebrate than with house-made pies.
At Brassica Kitchen + Kitchen Chefs Jeremy and Phil are cooking up pies and holiday gift baskets. This year’s assortment includes an apple pie ($32) with more than a pound of farm fresh apples, baked with cognac and caramel; classic pumpkin pie ($26); honey pie, a Southern custard-based dessert ($30); and Chef Philip Kruta’s claim to fame, his chocolate torte ($30) topped with raspberry compote (and gluten-free). December pie order can be made until Monday, December 18 for pick-up on December 22-24.
There’s also a specialty holiday gift basket with assorted specialty holiday cookies, a special cocktail recipe plus spice blend from the evening dinner service menu, and a one pound bag of locally roasted coffee beans from partners at Fazenda Coffee Roasters in Jamaica Plain. Gift baskets can be picked up in-store, and will be available for pick-up during regular restaurant hours.
