The valley outside Valdobiaddene sees temperatures day and night that allow the Glera grapes to mature with complexity of scent and flavor, thanks to the combination of the sun shining on a steep hill at the base of a mountain that faces South. Grapes are able to mature evenly with a high sugar count, as breezes drive out humidity. Prosecco is exclusively found in Northeast Italy in Veneto and the Friuli Venezia Giulia regions.
The Cartizze valley forms a natural amphitheater where the vines grow healthy and strong. Clay in the soil allows rapid rain drainage. This wine from the Mionetto Luxury Collection is often called the Grand Cru of Prosecco, with complex flavors of apple and pear and has won gold, silver and bronze medals in a large number of international wine competitions.
