Cape Classics adds Petite Siréne to portfolio
NEW YORK – Earlier this Fall, Cape Classics added Petitie Siréne to its portfolio via a partnership with the Third Growth Bordeaux estate Chateau Giscors in Margaux. This is the second Bordeaux winery joining the company this year in a collaboration that adds two wines to the market: Petite Siréne Bordeaux Sauvignon-Sémilillon 2016 and Petite Siréne Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot 2015. Both are priced at less than $10 suggested retail. “We wanted to approach Bordeaux in the exact same way we did the Loire and Burgundy—find stories that need to be told and wine that over-delivers for the price,” explains Robert Bradshaw, president and COO of Cape Classics. “With Petite Sirène by Château Giscours we found both.” This year has been Cape Classics’ 25th anniversary, bringing its initial foray into Bordeaux, its first teaching training session from work by its Indaba Education Fund and a nomination for Wine Enthusiast magazine’s “Importer of the Year.”
