As 2015 begins to wind down, the Boston Wine Expo is gearing up to celebrate the event”s 25th anniversary, February 13-14, 2016 at the World Trade Center.
It’s been 25 years of food, wine and culture and like any fine wine, the event just keeps improving with age. This coming year’s festival will showcase hundreds of wine to thousands of affluent and well-educated wine enthusiasts, along with leading members of the trade who make the buying decisions for both restaurants and liquor stores.
With 275-plus wines and an estimated 8,000 attendees, it promises to be a major event and will include 100-plus lifestyle and restaurant exhibitors. Trade attendees are expected to consist of 33 percent restaurateurs, 35 percent wine retailers, five percent suppliers and six percent food and beverage hotel industry personnel.
Beginning this month, the Expo’s marketing effort kicks into full gear with email marketing to more than 10,000 past attendees, a web presence drawing more than 50,000 unique visitors a month,
